Galaxy Black
DESCRIPTION
Galaxy Black shrimps are Caridina shrimps that originated from mixing different Caridin varieties (including Taiwan Bee and Tiger shrimps). A special and highly sought after variety pattern of these shrimps are BOA shrimps (the third picture is a picture of the parents of the shrimp on sale). These shrimps are characterized by the black colouration of the body, a pattern of stripes on the tail and spots on the head of the shrimp. Gradation of shrimps depends on the intensity of pattern on the head - the more and bigger dots/dash the higher gradation. These shrimps belong to rare shrimps and exact way of obtaining them has never been fully described. Some of them can have spider legs patterns (40 - 50% of legs are coloured in this pattern). As all shrimps from Caridina family, they require special conditions for proper growth and reproduction. The shrimps should be kept in the following conditions.
